Using lycra and neoprene, the pad covers the full knee. It is lined with special fabric that keeps sweat off the skin. Air ventilation holes and a behind-the-knee cutout prevents binding. The windows program allows coaches to record an unlimited number of events and test players an unlimited number of times so they can easily track players' progress during the off-season. The program prints data sheets listing players and events to be tested. Players may be selected by weight, class, position or team. For example, one data sheet may be prepared to test varsity linemen on weight-lifting events, while another could be prepared to test varsity backs and receivers on timed events. The program, that sells for $59.95, will also generate reports so a coach can see at a glance how his players stack up. For instance, a coach can get a report that ranks players by specific events, by percent of improvement, by body weight ratio or by multiple events.

The Rae Crowther 3 Target B.C. Cruncher Machine is a blocking machine designed by Rae Crowther Company and Oakland Raiders line coach Bill Callahan. The B.C. Cruncher is designed for both offensive and defensive work. The coach stands on a platform and fires the pads or pads as players run at the machine. Players must hit the pad and then move it to its locked position (the force required to lock the pad is the equivalent of a heavy bench press). All pads fire independently and are independently adjustable in height from 12 to 68 inches. Players can work on leverage, ripping, jamming, pad control, and punching. Two options are available. One is specifically designed for pass protection work. The machine also provides data that shows how fast a player hits the pad and how much force was applied.
