NFL Dan Dalrymple New Orleans Saints New Orleans Saints Strength and Conditioning Coach Dan Dalrymple learned a valuable lesson when he had a free agent tryout with the Seattle Seahawks in 1987. Dalrymple had been a four-year starter as an offensive lineman for Miami of Ohio (1983-1986). “I was good at power lifting so that’s what I concentrated on,” said Dalrymple. “I thought lifting was the answer so I just lifted and didn’t work on getting faster and improving my lateral movement.
