Page 4Every New Season A brand-new start. The opportunity to achieve a higher level of success than last year. One of the many things that make coaching football such an extraordinary profession. In some careers, you may not have much input/effect on many of the key elements that determine your level of success. You don’t design the products, you just make it, you don’t market the products, you just ship it, you don’t manage the company’s finances, you just work there.
But here, in football, you, the coach, make many decisions that have a very big impact on your team’s success. Sure, there ‘are countless things that happen, over which you have no control, but there are lots that you do control. So the challenge is, how can you WIN MORE? That is exactly what we are here trying to do, trying to help you find more and more ways to WIN MORE.
These include motivation, development of personnel, good techniques, strategy, and may - be best of all, ADVICE from your fellow travelers, who have found out some of the Keys To Success. Coaching Football is very different from most careers, in that you are too often judged by only one criteria = Wins. That is by no means the only measure of a successful career, but today, more than ever, it is a pretty dominant factor.
